The Kingdom has
witnessed in the past three decades a comprehensive industrial &
technological development, which required skilled national work
force. Based on this urging need, a Royal decree, Number 7/H/5267,
was issued in 7/3/1403H. This came in line with the decision of the
Higher Committee for Educational Policies, number 209, 1403H which
stressed the importance of technical education.
Hence, the College of Technology at Dammam was established in
1408H where General & Industrial Secondary School graduates were
enrolled in different College departments (Mechanical, Electrical,
Automotive & Electronics).
Objectives

To train national manpower in the field of
science & technology.

various professional & technical fields.

To spread and clarify technical and professional
concepts among citizens.

consultancy services in the field of technology.
